Both these netbook models are currently some of the most popular netbooks (not to mention some of the best) in the market. If you are currently deciding to get a netbook for yourself, it may prove to be a difficult choice choosing between these two models. Here is a quick guide to help you make your decision. While the Asus Eee 1005HA (PU17 model) and the HP Mini 110 have mostly similar specs, there are a couple of differences that set them apart. For instance, the Asus netbook comes with a slightly faster 1.66Ghz Atom processor and a larger 250GB hard drive. The HP netbook on the other hand has a 160GB hard drive and a 1.6Ghz processor. If you are someone who appreciates lots of storage (there is even an option for 500GB of online storage for the Asus model) and a slightly more powerful performance, it would be obvious that the 1005HA Eee netbook would make a better purchase.Besides the slightly more powerful specs, the Asus 1005HA netbook also have several extra features. It has a longer battery life (up to 10.5hours), Bluetooth connectivity and a more powerful 802.11b/g/n wi-fi connectivity (the HP 110-1125NR model only has 802.11b/g wi-fi). Despite all these extra features, the gorgeous Asus model is actually cheaper, retailing at just around $333 per unit. The HP 110-1125NR is currently selling at around $439 per unit.At this point, you will be wondering if there are any reasons to get the HP model at all. The HP netbook does have some unique features. For instance, the design of its keyboard is still (in my opinion) the best among any other netbooks. The smooth and flat design would also appeal to many. If you are a big HP fan and just can't get over the comfort of the keyboard or the overall design, then the HP 110 netbook will make a great choice for you. Otherwise, the Asus 1005HA-PU17 will make an excellent overall buy.
